Introduction
This policy explains how dankdev.com ("we", "the Site") handles information when you visit. We aim to collect as little as possible.
Analytics
We use GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics tool hosted on our own server, to understand aggregate visitor numbers (such as which pages are viewed). It does not use cookies, does not store your IP address or any information that identifies you, and does not track you across other websites. Because it runs on our own infrastructure, no visitor data is shared with third-party analytics companies.
Cookies
The Site does not set tracking cookies. Cloudflare (our CDN/DNS provider) may set strictly-necessary cookies for security and performance. Because we use no analytics or marketing cookies, the Site does not display a cookie-consent banner. If we ever add non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and add consent where required.
Third-party services
- Cloudflare — CDN, DNS, and security. Processes connection metadata (including IP) to protect and speed up the Site. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
- Cloudflare Images — some images are delivered via Cloudflare's image CDN.
- Google / Bing Webmaster Tools — we plan to use these for aggregate, non-personal search-performance monitoring.
Server logs
The hosting server may keep basic access logs (IP, request path, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention, retained for a limited time.
Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA you have rights under GDPR (access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection). Residents of California may have rights under the CCPA. To exercise any right, contact [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) or your local supervisory authority.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
